February 17, 2003  |  Imaginestics begins operation

Purdue Research Park, West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S.A – Imaginestics, a software products and services start-up company, recently established its operation at the Purdue Research Park. Two industry veterans, Nainesh Rathod and Jamie Tan, both of whom came from Maxim I/T, another software company at the Purdue Research Park, started the company. Nainesh Rathod was the founder of Maxim I/T and is still the Chairman there, while Jamie Tan was the Director of Research & Development.

Imaginestics was created when its founders realized that over the past decade thousands of companies had made significant investments in state-of-the-art technologies and software applications only to realize that they were underutilized and far from realizing the return on their investments. The company's product line consists of four interconnected software tools: .

  • i-compare, world's only comparison application that allows you to compare two Text documents, CAD drawings (including notes, text & dimensions) or images, all in one.
  • i-migrate automates the task of seamlessly moving data/content between wide range of systems and applications – legacy databases, CAD drawings, Office files, etc.
  • i-config, the first rules & reuse-based product configurator that automates company's sales, design, and manufacturing processes for engineer-to-order products.
  • i-parts is a standard library part solution that helps companies customize and automate CAD library part creation and selection.

Imaginestics offers programming services to automate, simplify, and streamline day-to-day tasks by leveraging existing system/application capabilities. Through incremental steps or large-scale projects, Imaginestics helps impact customer's bottom line. Some of Imaginestics' customers include ALCOA, TRW, Barker Company, Brown University, and University of Missouri – Columbia.
