Purdue Research Park, West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S.A - TechPoint, a leading change agent for Indiana's technology industry, along with its presenting sponsor, BKD LLP, a certified public accounting and advisory firm, hosted the Mira Awards at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

The Mira Awards are designed to recognize those companies who have risen to the top of their class for their performance, innovation and contribution to technology-related industries.

Two independent panels of seven judges made up of business and community leaders were charged with studying Mira nominations from 32 nominees in a total of six specific categories. After an intense judging session, the judges chose their champions in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing, Health and Life Sciences and Information Technology.

Imaginestics, LLC, a high tech software company, specializing in Knowledge Reuse Management systems, was named as a finalist in the Gazelle Company category. To qualify for this category, a technology based company must derive the majority of its revenue from the sale of products and services and must be in business less than three years from the initial commercialization of its principal products or services.
