To our knowledge, we were the first company in the field of visual search and we love to solve problems.
The Imaginestics team, creators of VizSeek, has many years of combined experience in programming, business, design, engineering, mathematics, physics, international trade, manufacturing, machinery, 3D printing, and so much more. We have created technologies the world had never seen.
Imaginestics is a US technology company.
We are based in the Midwest, in the Purdue University Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue is one of the top engineering schools in the world, and is an amazing resource for great talent. The early years were project work, serving our clients with technology solutions that other tech companies could not provide. The visual search technology proved so useful in project work that the we decided to make it into a product.
The VizSeek visual search engine is born.
As our company added clients, in many industries around the globe, we discovered that these clients used the shape search technology in new and unexpected ways. These new applications led to the creation of AMAS (Advanced Manufacturing Advisory System) for 3D printing, as well as VizSeek SmartQ, a custom application that allows manufacturers and distributors to create quotes on inquiries in a fraction of the usual time.
